My church reads scripture corporately, the entire congregation in unison. I was wondering if there was any Biblical reason.
1103.12.10 Does the Bible say anything about reading scripture aloud in unison, corporately as a congregation?
I’d like to work or volunteer overseas for a few years, but I don’t have the letters of recommendation needed for the Peace Corps. Are there legitimate, long-term programs out there as alternatives?

Bible or Christianity never support the concept of reincarnation as it is False. Why do then people misunderstand these things?
Please don’t get the wrong idea; I know that white people are not the only race that can be prejudiced. However, in the Northeast at least, it seems that Irish folks and Italian are particiularly prejudiced, perhaps even more so than the predominately Anglo-Celtic whites in the South. Consider that they had busing riots in the (largely Irish) South Boston in the 1970’s, a decade during which not even Southern whites rioted against busing and integration. How is this justified? I never got the justification on this one. The commandment "Thou shall not make a graven image of anything in heaven, in earth, or under the earth" What does this commandment mean to Catholics? Even as a little girl I understood this one! It is simple!! So lets hear the justification on this.

Are looks really everything with guys? Do women only want money and power? I know this is strictly an opinion and perspective question but I’m writing a paper comparing and contrasting the way men and women choose partners and I’d like some input from others. We can use personal interviews in our paper and I don’t want to interview my mom and my best friend like everyone else in the class.
Lets see if I have this right…atheists don’t believe in a god. agnostics say they don’t know either way.

because I’ve been trying to see if I’m agnostic or atheist but I’ve been a little confused by the differences between the two.
Except the mathematical strings of the numbers: natural numbers, real numbers, complex numbers… What else has humankind created that have no end?
People are freaking out that the world is going to end in 2012, but maybe, what i think, could be a return of their ruler. As some may know the mayan leader may or may not have been from space so perhaps they were waiting for their king to return to earth after this time.
