It is a question of intent and focus. Try using your intuition -see what speaks to you and then devise a simple ceremony to devote it to scrying. These things cannot be bought or sold – they are sitting at the side of the road, waiting to be picked up.
Use a small hanging object of significance to you, and attach it to something like string or chain from which it can hang.
All you need is a piece of string and a weight. Tie a washer of some weight to the string and you’ll have a perfectly good pendulum.
