I’m pretty sure there isn’t a commandment that says thou shall not masterbate.
Anything that works to promote the twisting and perversion of love is considered sin. Love making is to be saved and shared only with our spouse not with our own hands. Many people masterbate while thinking or watching others. Thats considered a perversion allowing the idea of others in our minds to intrude in our lovemaking. Kindda like saying "is it okay if I think of her while Im making love to you"? This leads to perversions of the heart and eventually the act is at hand of cheating.

Since GOD has given no specific instructions on the subject, and has given you free will, then it’s up to you to decide and be prepared to defend your decision when the time comes.
I’m sure some devout person can give you vague bible verses about fornication, but in all honesty, i wouldn’t worry too much.
it’s a totally natural thing and your choice entirely if you do or don’t want to do it. And much better than having casual sex and risking STDs and a pregnancy

The only prohibitions against them is the church trying to control you. It isn’t a sin.
The only thing wrong with masturbation is your not having sex with another person or persons. Religion is an old old way reflecting on thoughts of old medical ideas and confusion if masturbation helps or hurts the human body and or heightens of lessens the chance of conception when actual sexual male female sexual contact occurs. Medically masturbation is extremely healthy physically and in most cases mentally too.
Ignore your pastor, he’s just trying to control and manipulate you. Do whatever you like and don’t pay attention to such evil nonsense.
