I want to get presents for my two best friends for Christmas but I’m so stumped at what to get them. My one friend is really into acting and reading and my other loves singing. They are 16 years old. If you have any good ideas I would appreciate the help. And: My dad wants me to get them from Amazon because of his obsession with free shipping. I’m not sure if I’ll find something I think they’ll love on there, but maybe. Thanks! =D

I thought about that same question awhile ago too and this is what I’ve decided about the best gift EVA.
You should put together a gift basket sort of idea for them. In each, you could put a fleece blanket, hot cocoa, chocolate, nail polish, fuzzy socks…just a cozy, comfy, pampering sort of thing. But THEN comes the best part. In each basket, add something that the individual girl would like: a number one New York Times book, a CD of their favorite singer, a picture of you two in a frame. you could even put in something that would be an inside joke.
You know your friends and you know yourself, so use that info to decide on what any girl likes, but then also to decide how to modify that for your friends.

You should get your singing friend Sing-star, if the friend has a gaming console. You might want to get your acting/reading friend some classic books or some other type of genre that your friend likes.
Otherwise, you could get them a big box of chocolates!
Or ask them indirectly, in a casual or jokey way, what they want for christmas.
LOL your dad. Its not all free, I just got charged $10 for shipping. I think you have to spend a certain amount or buy certain things. I did see some super cute initial necklaces pretty cheap there though. They seemed appropriate for 16 year olds. And you can never go wrong with nice bath lotions and what not!
Ask ur acting/reading friend if she has a kindle if so then get her a gift card for amazon.com so that u can use amazon.com!!
Also for ur singing friend get her maybe like a karakoke game or something similar!!!

You have to think back to your time spent with each one, They have mentioned something they want or something they don’t have. In spite of the free shipping Amazon really is a good place to start to look for something for both of them. They have books, games,etc. Why not get them something out of their field of interest. Perhaps that "diabolical box" game from NINTENDO ds ?. Or just go the girly route and visit "Sephora" buy them some make-up i.e. eye shadows, or a holiday blouse or top, minutes for their phone. If you’ve been to their houses, buy them some art from "Art.com" (maybe a Norman Rockwell, or a ballerina, or a pic with flowers to compliment the colors in their living room or dinning room or bathroom)_don’t forget to supply the hanging acoutramon. 4 Rumba /electric slide dance lessons, go to "Strands/ Barnes/Nobles and select books on their heritage/traditions i.e. Scotch Irish/Italians/Jewish/ etc. Try a music store or online and get a book of songs with the words. My favorite thing to do is finds books that contain information about the street people live on, how it got its name etc its delightful and so interesting. Good luck.
