4 How do I become a Mason in Utah?

I know about the requirements, and that there is a Wasatch Lodge. I have been looking into Masonry really deeply and am interested in becoming a Mason. I want to forge a relationship with a Mason and prove myself worthy.

The ideal way to petition a lodge would be to meet or know someone there who can bring you in and introduce you to the brethren. You will need to get signatures from three different masons within the lodge that you petition before it can be submitted. Its also a good idea to get to know the men in the lodge that you’re interested in joining and find out how they do things and what the dues and fees are before you make a decision.

If you don’t have that option, take a look at the website that my illustrious brother cl_mason provided above to make sure that the lodge falls under the Grand Lodge of Utah. Beware of lodges that do not fall under the state Grand Lodge or the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of that state. There are some lodges in existence that were started illegally and are not recognized by any other grand lodge, so be sure to verify that its a lodge of "regular" masons. This will determine whether you are recognized/acknowledged as you travel abroad after you become a Master Mason, so that you can take part in our privileges.

I wish you the best of luck as you pursue your Masonic career and I look forward to welcoming another brother into the fold if you are found worthy.

go to that site, find a Lodge near your home, contact them and tell them you’re thinking about joining. they will be happy to talk to you.
