1 What are the most applicable phrasal verbs in business English?

I need to know what are the basic phrasal verbs I could use in business in general. I have a new job as personal assistant and I’ll need some phrasal verbs for comunication at meetings or on a phone or any phrasal verbs regarding money.

  1. Antony K says:

To make a check out — to write a check to someone
To add up — take the sum.
To back out (of) — to not keep (a deal, agreement)
To bear down on — to demand harshly
To buy out or to buy something out — to completely purchase all of someone’s stock or company
To buy up — see above
to come across (as) — to seem
